Students in the 2008 architectural conservation class honed their archival research and visual inspection skills as they pieced together the evolution of the historic building housing the Greensboro Historical Museum. Over the semester, the students led by Jo Ramsay Leimenstoll identified and digitized all archival photos, architectural plans, and related articles about the building to create one master data base. The students also photographed the building exterior to identify and record areas of deterioration. Their work has since been incorporated into a more comprehensive historic structures report.
